The story of this car

Main story image

Ferrari’s Refined V12 Grand Tourer in Nero Daytona

The Ferrari 575M Maranello was presented to the public at the Geneva International Motor Show in 2002. Designed by Pininfarina, it succeeded the 550 Maranello and introduced a series of updates and refinements that made Ferrari’s front-engined V12 grand tourer more powerful, more sophisticated and more complete.

The “M” stands for Modificata, reflecting the model’s evolution over its predecessor. The interior was redesigned, while Ferrari also introduced a range of mechanical improvements, including larger brake discs, a larger and more powerful engine, improved weight distribution with a 50:50 split between the axles, refined aerodynamics and fluid dynamics, and a more finely tuned adaptive suspension system.

The 575M was also significant as the first Ferrari V12 model to be offered with the F1 robotised manual transmission, developed with Graziano Trasmissioni. Its model number refers to the increased engine capacity of approximately 5.75 litres, while the V12 produces 515 hp.

This 2002 Ferrari 575M Maranello is a rare and beautiful example, with only approximately 2,056 units produced between 2002 and 2006. Having covered just 26,000 km, the car is said to be in rigorously impeccable and original condition, still retaining the factory protective film on the interior upholstery.

This example was sold and delivered new in Portugal through official Ferrari dealer Viauto. It is presented in an elegant and exclusive combination of Nero Daytona 506 over a full leather interior with beige seats and door panels, beige upholstery and a two-tone black and beige dashboard.

The car comes with all manuals and its service book. With its low mileage, original condition, official Portuguese delivery and timeless Nero Daytona colour scheme, this 575M Maranello represents a highly attractive example of Ferrari’s modern V12 grand touring lineage.
