The story of this car

The One-to-One 612 Scaglietti: An Elegant Ferrari 2+2
Volume design by Pininfarina, the new Ferrari GT does not immediately win unanimous approval, especially among the brand's die-hard fans. After all, it's not that surprising as it embodies a deliberate break from the traditional 2+2 GTs from Modena, intended to mark the beginning of a new era. It therefore needs to be observed for a good while, from all angles, to understand its harmony and complexity, from which a subtly "technological" beauty is born.
Very technical, the sculptural front end inaugurates small Xenon headlights, integrated with the turn signals under a Plexiglas cover. More classic, the rear reassures with its four round taillights and four chrome exhaust tips. Original and modern, the ensemble is nonetheless typically Ferrari, in a skillful blend of sportiness and elegance that does not go unnoticed.
The 612 Scaglietti is powered by an evolution of the 65° V12 from the 575M. The air and exhaust intake circuit has notably been thoroughly revised. With a displacement of 5,748 cm3 (this is where the number 6 in 612 comes from), the magnificent 48-valve 12-cylinder Italian engine now develops 540 hp at the uncommon 7,250 rpm. The comfortable torque is 588 Nm maximum at 5,250 rpm.
Having relegated the old automatic gearbox to the museum, the engineers have coupled the V12 to a six-speed semi-automatic sequential transmission, F1 type, which will undoubtedly be clearly preferred over the manual gearbox. Named F1A, this new gearbox, available as an option for 9000 euros, promises ultra-fast gear changes (200 milliseconds in sport mode) and comfortable use (normal mode).
The car offered was delivered new in France, it is a third-hand vehicle.
The car has always been very well maintained. The service book is present and regularly stamped.
The car is in very good cosmetic condition. The front end shows some stone chipping marks, which are entirely normal for a car with this mileage. The interior is in good condition. The plastics (a common issue with Ferraris of this generation) are generally in good condition, with the exception of the central air vents which are sticky. We will replace them for the sale. A complete detailing (interior and exterior) will also be carried out on the car.
Mechanically, the car functions perfectly. The last clutch wear reading is less than 50%.
