About the 12Cilindri
Ferrari introduced the Ferrari 12Cilindri in 2024 as the successor to the 812 Superfast, continuing the brand’s long-standing tradition of front-engined V12 grand tourers. The model arrives at a time when naturally aspirated engines are becoming increasingly rare, particularly in this segment. Ferrari’s decision to retain a pure V12 configuration reflects both heritage and intent. Available as both a coupé and a Spider, the 12Cilindri represents a modern interpretation of Ferrari’s most iconic layout.
Technical Details
The Ferrari 12Cilindri is powered by a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12, producing 830 hp (611 kW) and 678 Nm of torque. The engine revs to 9.500 rpm, delivering power in a linear and highly responsive manner. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, providing fast and precise gear changes. Despite modern emissions and performance requirements, the car remains free from hybrid assistance, preserving the character of a traditional Ferrari V12.
Performance
The Ferrari 12Cilindri delivers performance figures that place it among the fastest front-engined cars available today. The Ferrari 12Cilindri accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reaches 200 km/h in approximately 7.9 seconds. Top speed is around 340 km/h. While the numbers are impressive, the focus of the car lies in the driving experience, particularly the responsiveness and sound of the naturally aspirated V12.
Dimensions and Weight
The Ferrari 12Cilindri measures 4.733 mm in length, 2.176 mm in width, and 1.292 mm in height. The coupé has a curb weight of approximately 1.560 kg, while the Spider weighs around 1.620 kg. Luggage capacity stands at 270 liters in the coupé and 200 liters in the Spider, maintaining a degree of practicality expected from a grand tourer.
Design
The design of the Ferrari 12Cilindri draws inspiration from Ferrari’s classic grand touring models of the 1950s and 1960s, as well as the Ferrari 365 Daytona. A defining feature is the black horizontal element across the front, referencing historic Ferrari design cues. At the rear, aerodynamic elements such as a large diffuser and an active rear spoiler contribute to downforce, while maintaining a clean and balanced overall design.
Interior
The interior of the Ferrari 12Cilindri represents a significant step forward in refinement compared to earlier V12 models. High-quality materials are used throughout, and the layout integrates modern technology while maintaining a driver-focused approach. The cabin features a central multimedia display and a dedicated passenger screen, creating a more interactive experience for both occupants.
Prices
The Ferrari 12Cilindri represents the latest evolution of Ferrari’s front-engined V12 models and occupies a premium position in the market. Prices are expected to start well above €400.000, depending on specification and market conditions. As one of the few remaining naturally aspirated V12 Ferraris, demand is expected to remain strong, particularly among collectors and enthusiasts.
